Wyckoff is a Bergen County hamlet nestled in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains. The first homes were built here in the 1700s, with the 1737 Terhune House remaining as a landmark of Wyckoff’s centuries-long heritage.

Housed within a converted dairy barn built in 1779, The Barn Original provides classic American meals and a great drink selection in a rustic setting. Community events within Wyckoff include a Memorial Day Parade, a Fishing Derby at Zabriskie Pond, and Wyckoff Day at the Wyckoff YMCA. Wyckoff Day’s festivities include rides, food vendors, and live music. The YMCA hosts other events throughout the year, including children’s summer camps. Its year-round facilities include fitness training, dance classes, and aquatics programs at its swimming pool. Outdoor sports spaces include Pulis Field behind the YMCA and the Wyckoff Municipal Field Complex in the heart of the community. J. A. McFaul Environmental Center is a popular natural space with a small zoo, flower gardens, and tree-shaded walking paths. There’s also a petting zoo at Abma’s Farm, along with fresh produce, eggs, poultry, and home-baked goods.
